Addison had her 4 month check-up yesterday (although she is a little over 4 months old). She measured 25 inches long and weighed 15 pounds and 4.2 ounces. Just a growing! She was supposed to get some shots, but because she had a little cold, they wanted to wait on the shots. Instead, she had a breathing treatment in the office. She has had a runny nose for a while, but this morning she started sounding a little wheezy. She did surprisingly well with the breathing treatment. It lasted for about 7 minutes. For the first couple of minutes she kept sticking her tongue out like she was trying to lick the mist that was shooting in her face. It was funny. They sent us home with a sample of albuterol to try for a week. She will have her follow up appointment next Friday and hopefully have her shots then. Please pray that my little baby will get rid of this rotten cold very soon!
Last night, Adam and I had our first real date night since Addison has been born. Although we felt a little guilty leaving her with a cold and all, we had a great time! We went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This was the 3rd movie in a series. It was great! After the movie, we went out to eat at Tripp's. Tripp's has become "our spot". We go there for many special occasions, just the two of us, and we always enjoy it! Addison stayed with Dr Abdul's precious daughter, Sekani. Sekani has recently started her own babysitting business. She is a doll and is great with kids! We are so happy to have found a great babysitter! Hopefully I will post pictures later of her night with the Abdul family. In the meantime, here's a random cute one....
