Our Future "Nanny"

Image
I think Griffy is getting ready for little miss priss to make her appearance too!  He has found him a new "spot" to relax... I can see it now... every time she makes a move Griffon is going to come wake us up.  He's going to worry himself to death over that little baby.  Sadie, on the other hand, will take a little more convincing.  I think she'll be crazy over her too, but will keep her distance for a little while.  Those pups are so predictable!  :)

38 Weeks 3 Days

Addison and I had another appointment this morning.  It was another routine visit.  Everything is looking great!  Her heart rate is still in the 140's and my belly is measuring 39 weeks.  The midwife that I saw today said that she estimates her weight to be about 7 lbs now.  I am happy to say that I am still feeling great!  Other than my hands and feet being swollen and achy I have no complaints.  Here is a picture of us from a couple of weeks ago:

More Dr Appointments

Well, once again I am way behind on my blogging...but better late than never, right?  Last Friday I had another Dr Appt.  I saw Lisa, a midwife at Greenville OBGYN that I really like.  We did the normal routine stuff, plus I had blood drawn for some kind of test (I never really know what they are even testing for, I just wait to hear that everything is normal and I'm good ) and Lisa checked for any "progress".  No progress yet.  I was, however, measuring one week ahead.  The heart rate was in the upper 140's and everthing else was still looking great (bp, pulse, weight, and urine).  I had another appointment today.  This was a quick appointment.  Everything is still looking great.  The heartrate was 144 then she moved around a little and it went up to 148.  I'm telling you, she's going to be a mess :)  I am still measuring about one week ahead at 39 weeks... so, to me, that means any day now little Addison could be joining us in this big world!  My next ap

34 Week Appointment

Last Friday I had my 33-34 week appointment.  It is so hard to believe that I am down to the "appointment every other week" stage!  This appointment was a normal routine visit...they checked my blood pressure and pulse, my weight, my urine sample, measured my belly, and listened to Addison's heartbeat.  Now that is a sound that you just never get tired of hearing!  Thankfully, everything is looking great!  Addison's heart rate is in the upper 140's, which is normal and right around where it has always been.  I am measuring right on target and according to the doctor, she is probably weighing around 5-5.5 pounds now.  The Dr told me that if I were to go into labor today that they would do nothing to try to stop it because she should be born 100% healthy from here on out.  That was like music to my ears!  I haven't been worrying over this pregnancy at all, but it was still a huge relief to hear those words!  Glory be to God!!  I have pretty much been feeling g
