Four Months Old!!

Image
It seems like I was just posting Addison's 3 month old update, and yet here we are, a whole month later.  It is November 26 and Addison Leigh Beaman is now 4 months old! My how time flies!  Here's a precious picture of Addison this morning in her "Farm Cutie" onesie that Grandma Jane-Jane gave her and her little boots from Polly... Adam and I went to Babies R Us today to get Addison a 4 month present.  Well, honestly, Addison and I went, but when I lost my keys, Adam had to come rescue us.  I looked for my keys for nearly an hour.  It took Adam about 5 minutes to find them.  Ha!  I told him it was just my excuse to get him to come hang out with us.  This is what we bought her... It was a special "Black Friday" buy!  I think she likes it... Notice the book under her feet.  She wasn't quite tall enough for it, but we fixed that :) Here are a few quick 4 month stats:      size diaper:  2      size clothes:  3-6 months in some things, 6 months in other

Thanksgiving 2010

Addison and Daddy at Grandaddy Milton's on Thanksgiving '10: I love this time of year!  I am not a fan of cold weather, but I do love the spirit of the holiday season.  Thanksgiving seems to be when it all starts.  It seems like people are generally just a little bit nicer beginning this time of year.  Ofcourse you see those that are way too stressed out as well, but overall, I think people are a little more thoughtful during the holidays.  In honor of Thanksgiving 2010, I would like to share just a few things that I am thankful for.  There are far too many to list, but here are a few... First of all, I am thankful that I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior that continues to grow each and every day. Words cannot express how thankful I am for my husband and my daughter who make this life oh so sweet!  I am thankful for the job that I have, and the fact that it does not feel like a "job", but instead feels like an awesome opportunity each and eve

Myrtle Beach with the girls.....and Braxton :)

My mom's cousin, Cathy and my mom's aunt, Gay have  beach houses in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  Every year, the girls get together for a weekend of fun and shopping.  This year not everyone was able to go.  We missed those that were unable to make it, but we still had a great time.  My favorite part of the trip was sleeping in!  It seems like it has been decades since I was able to do that.  (Although it has been....lets see Addison is almost 4 months old, so it has been almost 4 months--ha!)  We did most of our shopping at Tanger Outlets, where I got Addison some darling outfits, as if she needs them!  It is so hard to resist an awesome deal on a precious baby girl outfit for such a precious baby girl!  And ofcourse I got a couple of cute outfits for baby Perry too!  It was so nice to spend time with family that I unfortunately don't get to see often.  I didnt take many pictures, but I did manage to get a few of Ashley's baby boy, Braxton.  He is sooooo cute!  He is 10 da

Open Door

Addison started a new daycare on Monday at Open Door Ministries.  We were on the waiting list for almost a year and finally got a call about 3 weeks ago that there was an opening in the nursery.  We were so excited!  And after one week there, we are even more excited....we LOVE it!!!  It isn't grandma daycare...hint hint.....but it is a blessing none the less.  Everyone there is soooo nice and really seems to love what they do.    There are 9 other babies in her nursery.  I haven't learned all their names yet, but I'm sure I will eventually.  All of the women who work in the nursery are very nurturing and loving and calm!  They are very attentive and that is something that I really appreciate!  The entire place is so clean and organized!  They are big on "learning"  and more important than anything...they teach the word of God!  We feel that Addison has adjusted well there and look forward to the days ahead at Open Door!  I'll have to get some pics soon of her

Halloween Weekend

Friday....All of the kids wore their halloween outfits to daycare.  It was too funny... Later that night, our little trio went to the Sweet Potato Festival in the big old town of Snow Hill.  It was chilly so we had to bundle the baby up tight :)  We were proud to show her off!  We saw Jane Jane and Gerald, Cheryl, Crystal, Lee, Jacob, and Macy, and a few other friends of Jane's.  Saturday...Me, my daddy, and Addison went yardsaling bright and early.  We found a nice bouncy seat for Addison and a few more cute clothes for baby Perry. Then Addison stayed with Aunt Amy Saturday evening from about 6-11pm.  I think she enjoyed the opportunity to get some practice in.  And Adam and I enjoyed the opportunity to get some laundry done!  Ha!  Sad, I know....but we seriously were excited about cleaning up a little.  Here are a few pictures from Addison's time with Aunt Amy and Uncle Chris... Sunday...Sunday we went to church.  We visited a new church that some friends have been
