21 Months

I missed Addison's 20 month post so there will be lots of catch-up pictures on this one.  On April 26, Addison turned 21 months old!  She has really become such a big girl.  She speaks in sentences now, she counts to 10 (although she sometimes skips the number 6), she is finally getting her colors down...usually.  She is obviously being taught good manners at school, because she says "excuse me, please, and thank-you" a lot.  She has gotten a lot taller in the past month, although I am ashamed to say we have not measured her.  We are planning to start marking her height on a door or stick or something...we just haven't done it yet.  Potty training has not really gotten anywhere.  She is in pull-ups, but that just means "diaper" to her...I don't think it is any different than a regular diaper in her mind.  Just costs us more.  She is going to start going to school in big girl underwear tomorrow.  Her teacher, God bless her, recommended that I just b

HOPE

I'm a little behind on my blog because I have been busy, busy, busy!  Thankfully, though, it has been a good kind of busy!  I have been busy with Body By Vi!  For those of you who don't know, Body By Vi (Visalus Sciences) is an amazing company with amazing opportunities!  The general idea of the Body By Vi Challenge is to get people healthier!  There are many different plans/kits available, depending on your goals...your goal may be to lose weight, to maintain a healthy weight, to build muscle, to add nutrition to your diet...whatever your goal, there is a plan for you!  I can hardly wait to have this baby so I can get on a Body By Vi weight loss plan!!!    For now, however, the most exciting thing about BBV for me is that it is providing some hope!  Hope for a little extra income...just to make life a little easier!  I was introduced to this opportunity just one month ago, and already, I can see, that with a little work, this will be such a blessing!  Adam has been on the &q

Easter 2012

Image
What a beautiful day it was to celebrate the resurrection of our King!!!   How blessed we are that our God loves us so much that he sent his one and only son to pay the price for our sins!  Here are a few memories from our Easter 2012.  Addison checking out what the easter bunny left for her... After playing with bubbles and eating candy, we were off to church, where we got a quick family photo... After lunch, we went to a party to celebrate this sweet little one's first birthday... Happy Birthday, Jude!!! Here are a few pictures from the party of the easter egg hunt... Addison had so much fun finding all of her eggs!!!  And she is still young enough that we could convince her that the chocolate inside of them was not really candy.  Bless her heart!  She was shaking those chocolate eggs like they were just a toy.  Love her sweet self!  Here are a few more photos from the party... this one is funny...this sweet little boy is working so hard...he makes her look so heavy...

Poor 2nd child...he has only had 2 blog posts.  It is past time I made mention of our sweet baby boy!  Honestly, there hasn't been nearly as much to post...when I was pregnant with Addison, I had a friend that did an ultrasound on me once or twice/month!  Unfortunately, that friend isn't able to do that this go round.  So, since my ultrasound, I have only had one appointment, where I just peed in a cup and got my belly measured...who wants to hear about that?  Ha!  They did say that I was measuring right on target (although to me, I feel WAY bigger than I did at this point the first go round).  We did listen to the heartbeat again, which is always so heart-warming!  The heart rate at my last visit was between 150 and 160bpm.  I finally ordered some baby furniture about 3 weeks ago.  I am hoping that it will be in some time next week.  I didn't get as lucky finding crazy awesome furniture at a steal this time, so we had to go much more simple....but boys are more simple anyw
