I love that you are such a country boy
I love that you love our baby girl with everything that you have
I love that you are a "dog person"
I love that your hands are rough and stained
I love that you tell me that you love me each and every day
I love that you smell like dirt when you come home
I love that you always believe in me and support me, no matter what
I love that you have a heart for God
I love that you do the dishes :)
I love that you drive a big truck...always 4-wheel drive, ofcourse
I love that you have so much patience with me, and with everything
I love that you have changed just as many diapers as I have
I love that you are the one thing in this world that can always calm my soul
I love that you are a better cook than me
I love that you make me laugh...a lot
I love that you think it's fun to spend half a day in a swamp
I love that you always respect your parents, and everyone for that matter
I love that no matter where we go or what we do, I am always proud that you are by my side
I love that you never get tired of playing with Addison
I love that you are amazing you and that you love little old me!

Addison's first babysitters

This past Saturday night, Adam and I headed out for the first time without our little "butter bean".  Everyone keeps asking me if I cried, but I knew she was safe with Grandma Jane-Jane and Grandpa Gerald, so there were no need for tears.  Plus, they were babysitting at our house and I knew I'd see her in just a few hours, so it wasn't so bad.  We went to Adam's 10 year class reunion and had so much fun!  There was a great crowd there, at the City Hotel and Bistro.  It was so good to see everyone!  I graduated just one year ahead of Adam, so I knew a lot of people at the reunion too, even though it was for the c/o 2000.  Here are a couple of snapshots...I am hoping to get more pictures from Lorie's camera to add to my blog, but this is all I have for now... Look Who's One!

July 26, 2011...Addison's FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!  I don't even know what to say.  There are so many things I have thought about writing for this blog, but right now all I can think to say is THANK YOU JESUS for choosing Adam and myself to watch over your precious baby Addison Leigh!  And THANK YOU JESUS for the blessing that she continues to be each and every day to so many people! I just can't believe it has been a whole year since we were at the hospital welcoming our new baby to the world.  And now here she is standing all by herself... She's still not walking on her own, but has been doing the bear walk a lot lately... She wears 12-18 month clothes, size 3-4 diapers, and size 3 shoes.  She started drinking big girl milk (soy milk) a couple of days ago, so no more formula!  She is still a GREAT eater!  And she still will let the whole world know if her belly is hungry!  She still LOVES to dance more than anything in the world!  She added a new word to her "vocabu
