Happy 3 Months, Addison!!
It's October 26, 2010 and our sweet baby girl is 3 months old today!!! And guess what... she laughed yesterday! Not that little squeal of a laugh that is precious none the less, but a real, long, oh so happy laugh! Adam got right in her face and made some crazy noise and face and she thought it was just the funniest thing in the world. She laughed really good twice and me and Adam just ate it up! She is going to be so ticklish too because she twitches like crazy if you try to tickle her, but those twitches will soon be hysterical laughs. I can't wait! They said she laughed at daycare today too! Her cousin, Luke, got right in her face and she laughed. Apparently she thinks its comical when you get right in her face :)
As for updates, our sweet Addie Leigh is wearing a size 1-2 diaper, but will soon be in size 2 because we are almost out of the size 1-2. Ha! In most clothes she wears a size 3-6 month. She still hasn't worn a pair of shoes yet, but I tried to put a size 1 on her the other day and they fell right off, so I guess she wears a size 0. She typically drinks 5-6 ounces at each feeding during the day. In the morning, though, she drinks more like 7 ounces because......SHE SLEEPS ALL NIGHT!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!! Ok, so she usually sleeps all night, but hey, I'll take it! We normally lay her in her crib around 8:00 and she gets up around 6 or 7. Every now and then, though she'll wake up in the middle of the night for a bottle.
Another precious update...she likes to "sing". She has been "talking" for quite some time, but lately it sounds almost like singing. And if you sing to her, she really does it a lot, like she's singing with you. It is SO Sweet!! She is also much more interested in books lately. She listens so good like she knows everthing you're saying. Her favorite books are some Grandma Sue-Sue bought. They are really simple and colorful. One is a book of sounds and the other is a book of things you find on a farm. Cute! She still likes to watch TV too. We put cartoons on for her sometimes, but she seems just as interested in the hunting channel. Go figure! She will not roll over anymore. I guess she's over that. She scoots on the changing table though. She puts her feet under her butt and moves her body upward. I keep having to pull her body back down while I'm changing her diaper because she scoots right off the changing pad. She still cries like a crazy person if you take too long getting her bottle ready.....drama queen. Thankfully that's pretty much the only time she cries though. She will get fussy when she is sleepy, but it is usually really easy to get her to go to sleep, so that's no big deal. She has been blowing bubbles a lot lately. That's pretty funny. I'll have to get a picture of her doing that, but this is the only picture I could get by the time I got home today...
