Sleepover Firsts

Broughton spent his first night away from home about a month ago (a little late posting, I know).  I went with the "Burlington girls" on our annual Myrtle Beach shopping trip and Adam was busy, busy, busy picking beans.  Broughton stayed with Gama and Gapa.  He did great!  He slept through the night and blew lots of raspberries. :)

Addison had her first "sleep-over" that same night.  She has stayed the night away with grandparents on numerous occasions.  In fact, she has stayed with Gama and Gapa nearly one night a month since she's been just a few months old.  (Huge thank-you to Gama and Gapa, by the way!!!)  But for the first time, Addison had a sleep-over with someone other than grandparents.  She stayed with Amy, Chris, and Hayden!  She did great as well and I know she had lots of fun!!!  I am so thankful that we have amazing family so close and so willing to help out with the kids!

Me, Addison, Broughton, Mindy, Luke, and Landon also had a sleep-over recently.  We spent our first night in my mom and dad's new house!  I am hoping to do a separate post on this soon!  But to make a long story short for now, my mom and dad built a new house and moved in just a couple of weeks ago!  Words cannot express how happy I am for them!!!

Addison and Luke love the play room...

Landon in his pj's, playing on Sue-Sue's iPad...

Broughton didn't know what to think about this Rudolph nose...

Merry Christmas...

good morning, Gukey!

PaPa cooking breakfast...yum!

Poor Broughton, he's always surrounded by pink...although it sure doesn't seem to bother him too much now.  Ha!  Don't worry, I'll be sure that he has all his own "stuff" at some point, but for now we do what is convenient and inexpensive...and that is sharing sister's things.

Gingerbread house and Gingerbread train!...fun, fun, fun!

All bundled up...

...for a quick golf-cart ride!

marching/dancing up the stairs...

Yay for sleepovers!  :)
