Two Whole Days

That is how long it took to get our sweet little girl back after picking her up from Grandma and Grandpa's house Saturday night.  I have always heard that your kids are not the same when they come back from Grandma's, but I finally got to witness it first hand.  Addison stayed with Jane-Jane and Gerald Friday night and all day Saturday.  When I went to pick her up Saturday night she was EXHAUSTED, as I expected.  After all, she had been playing all day with her Grandma and Grandpa.  The shocker, however, came on Sunday and Monday.  Every time we sat her down she cried.  We put her in the jumper, she cried.  We put her in the high chair, she cried.  We put her in the car seat, she cried.  The only way to make her happy: hold her.  Every time we got anywhere near her she would hold her hands in the air, wanting you to pick her up.  We gradually broke her of that...after two whole days...and I am happy to say that she is back to her normal self....a sweet, happy, not-so-spoiled baby girl.  Although that was absolutely no fun, we are thankful that her grandparents love her so much and want to spend time with her!  We aint' mad at ya  :)  And no, Gerald, this is not a challenge!  (Gerald told me on Saturday that if they had done their jobs right, it should take us a week and a half to get her back straight)  Ha! Here are a few pics from her stay...
