Broughton, 16 months old!!!

So, this post was originally titled "Broughton, 15 months old".....but it's been so long since I started it that he is now 16 months old!!!  My, oh my, how time truly FLIES!!!!  Now, lets see if I can finish before he turns 17 months old! ....

This kid is such a mess!  ...and such a big boy!  He is in the 100% for length and 85% for weight.  The doctor told us at his 15 month check-up that he is going to be tall....I'll believe that when I see it...not too many "tall" folks in our families.  I swear he is abnormally strong though...and HEAVY!!!

Look at him, making pink look good...ha.  (Addison insists on riding in the black carseat.  We decided that was not a battle worth fighting.  Broughton could care less.)

Ever since he was about 9 months old he has seemed like a "boy"...and not a "baby".  I think it's mainly because he tries to keep up with his sister.  Jumping off things, climbing, running...and he says so many things now.  Some things he says off the top of my head:  up, out, down, snack (nack), dog, baaa, moo, duck, quack, neigh, meow, lion, roar, mouse, hot, book, bird, turtle, rabbit, computer, milk, water (wawa), bath, vroom, hat, nose, ear, mouth, jump, night-night, ride, apple, ball (that should have been listed first. ha), mama, dada, papa, landon, Ada (Addison), sue-sue, cracker, bye-bye, tractor, truck, banana (nana), balloon (boon), baby, pumpkin (munk munk), ahh ahh ooh ooh (monkey), block, more, eat-eat, Brought-Brought, tickle tickle (tick tick), beep beep...

He loves to play with his sister, and thankfully they play so good together!  Not perfect at all times, but I am beyond thrilled with these two and their sweetness :)

possibly my favorite picture ever...

another sweet one...

Such a good "helper"...

me and my little loves...

Broughton does love to make his "scrunched up face"...and people that aren't around him often probably see that face more than smiles.  But in places where he is comfortable, the smiles far exceed the scrunched up nose!

my boys...

so precious...

pushing "brother"...

riding the gator...they love the gator!

and their favorite thing to do...wrestling

Keep away. lol

Busted!  Broughton loves to get into the cabinet with all the cleaners...I'm pretty sure that's only because it is likely the most dangerous of all of our cabinets...

Handsome, handsome, handsome

He is still a very good eater...eats like a grown man!

Here's that face.  Ha!  ...

little dare devil...

He also recently learned the sweetest thing at daycare...If you ask him, "What does your heart say?", he pats his chest and says with the sweetest little voice, "Boom Boom".  It seriously melts my heart!  Unfortunately, I couldn't get the video to load on here :(

He loves all things boy...any kind of ball...he even seems to enjoy watching football on TV,  trucks, tractors, he also LOVES reading books!  Sometimes we go to check on him if it starts to get too quiet...because any parent knows, if it's too quiet it's usually not a good thing...sometimes we find him standing on top of the toilet trying to reach the cabinet above...lol...but most of the time, we find him in his room looking at books.  He likes bath time and loves to be outside!  He still wants nothing to do with any kind of blanket.  He adores his Pa.  Sometimes he calls him Pa and sometimes he calls him Papa...

He gives the sweetest hugs and kisses!  Here he is loving on "Ada"...

hugs...

and kisses...

beyond sweet...

He likes to dance and loves for you to sing.  Any time you sing any kind of song, he immediately starts clapping and says, "Yay!"  You are such a blessing, sweet baby boy!!!
