Broughton - 3 Months Old!

Broughton turned 3 months old on September 20!  Although our lives have been pretty crazy since his arrival, he is such a blessing!!!  His personality is really coming to life, and thankfully that personality is sooooo sweet!!!  He is such a happy baby!  He smiles with his entire face and has a precious dimple in his right cheek.  When he smiles big his eyes squint a little and it just steals my heart!
Addison can pretty much always make him smile and sometimes laugh....unless of course he is crying for a bottle...then the only thing that will make him happy is milk!  He drinks 5-6 ounces at a time, except before bedtime...then he will drink 6-8 ounces!  He almost always sleeps through the night, praise God!  He goes to bed a little late still...usually between 10 and 11, but he doesn't wake-up until around 5:30 or 6:30.  Although this morning he slept until 8:00!
He has been sleeping in his crib every night for several weeks now and doesn't have much trouble with the whole acid-reflux thing anymore.  He still takes medicine for it and still spits up, but he no longer acts like it ever causes him pain.  :)  Everyone still says he looks just like my daddy (his PaPa).
He is getting to be such a big boy!  He wears 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
He wants to sit up so bad!  If you lay him back the least bit, he struggles and struggles to sit up.  He likes to be able to see what's going on.  He reaches for things now too and is getting a little more coordinated with his hands.
At times, he will really do some "talking".  He has made a sound several times that sound just like "Mama", although I know he has no idea what he's saying.  His eyes are still a beautiful blue and he finally has a bald spot on the back of his head.
He started daycare on August 27.  He is just a few doors down from Addison's class.  She is so proud that he goes to her "shool".  I didn't get a picture of him before his first day of school, but Adam snapped this picture of him when he picked him up...
I think he adapted well :)  He suddenly is interested in TV.  It doesn't really matter what you have on...he seems equally interested in cartoons and football.  His eyes will stay glued to it for a long time if you let him.  He hasn't rolled over much recently, but he does scoot on the changing table.  You have to be sure not to leave him there or he will likely scoot right off, head first.  He puts his little feet down and pushes upward.  He likes to take a bath and he doesn't mind if Addison helps (which says a lot b/c she isn't always so careful with the water..ha!).

Broughton, you are SO loved!
