13 Months Old!

Addison turned 13 months old on August 26. What a busy girl she has been! She finally decided to give up crawling on Aug 16 and has been walking all over the place ever since!

She is such a happy little girl! Isn't that crazy....little girl. I finally see her as a little girl and no longer a baby. This is a little sad, but exciting and fun at the same time. She has grown up so much in the last month! She doesn't hesitate to let you know what she wants by shaking her head yes or no. She also is beginning to learn sign language. She has "eat" and "more" down pat. The first thing she does every day that I pick her up is sign that she wants to eat. Here she is doing just that. I know in this picture it looks like she is about to blow a kiss, but believe me, she is saying, "eat, eat"! Ha!

And thankfully, she still eats so good! Her favorite food is definitely bananas. She is starting to say "Nana". She also loves baked beans. I have been able to find some new dairy free foods lately and she has loved them all.... dairy free waffles, soy yogurt. I have also bought vegan cheese and some kind of egg replacer, but we haven't tried them yet.

She likes soy, almond, and coconut milk. We try to mix these up because she actually has a mild level I soy allergy too. Anyways, enough about food. What else has little Miss Addison been up to lately? She loves giving mommy and daddy kisses, loves Dora the Explorer....I swear she would be great advertisement for that show...you should see her when it comes on, she gets SO excited! Tonight Dora was singing "stomp your feet, clap your hands" and Addison was just a stomping and a clapping! She has started saying diaper. When you ask if she needs a clean diaper, she shakes her head up and down, then once you lay her on the changing table, she reaches back to get a diaper and says "di-pa". Too cute! She loves to watch birds and loves to be outside in general. She is a dirty little youngin and I just love it! She absolutely ADORES her cousin, Luke. They play so good together!

We are happy that Luke is now at her daycare, but sad that they are in different classes. That's OK, though because they will be in the same class next year :)

Addison has 8 teeth now, no molars yet. She wears size 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diaper. She wears a size 3 shoe. Mama (Sue-Sue) bought her a couple pairs of those squeaky shoes....PRECIOUS!

She has been a bit of a daddy's girl lately. I think it's because daddy was home a lot during the storm (Hurricane Irene). She got attached :) Here she is helping daddy with the dishes...
