Addison's 1st Birthday Party!

Image
We celebrated Addison's first birthday a couple of Saturdays ago at the river.  Despite the horrible forecast, the day was absolutely beautiful!  Thank-you, Jesus!  I was hoping to put her invitations on the blog, but I cannot seem to figure out how to do that.  Anyways, you will just have to trust me when I say that they were cute as pie, if I do say so myself  :)  (that is just my kind of thing :) We had lots of water fun for the kids....slip-n-slides, pools, the river... We are so happy that everyone had a great time!... And Addison is so happy that her Grandma Jane-Jane made her a dairy-free, egg-free birthday cake... Because Addison has been so blessed with way too many toys and outfits, we asked that everybody bring school supplies for needy kids in the area instead.  We ended up with LOTS of goodies!  They were donated to a local outreach ministry, Glory Thru Me Outreach.  As of now, 13 children have been supplied f...

I am so behind on my blog, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it this time.  Honestly, I am just happy to be blogging again right now!  So, we have been up to all kinds of things lately....two Burlington trips, Anna Kate's birthday party, hanging out with "the boys", and much, much more!  But don't worry, this one will be short and sweet because I have been a little slack about taking pictures lately :( My grandmother celebrated her 80th birthday and I am sad to say that I don't have a single picture from her celebration.  There were lots of cameras going off that day, but I have yet to get copies from anyone.  That is on my to-do list.  Anyways!  Happy Birthday, Mamaw!  Adam's grandad also just celebrated his 88th birthday.  Again, no pictures at this time.  Happy Birthday, Boompa!  I have a couple of pictures from sweet little Anna Kate's birthday party.    I took Addison and Luke with me, so it wasn't so ...
